Into the Abyss
"To everything there is a season…and a time for every purpose under heaven. A time to be born…a time to die…”
There are those who have returned from the brink of that physical extinction called Death, which leaves them with a renewed appreciation of the simplest day to day happenings. No longer is life a drudgery, but is instead, a blessing for each moment of living.
Death is predictable. To dust we shall all return. But who among us knows of the slow fading of the human spirit that precedes one’s fall into the abyss of madness and despair? Who among us have walked along our own life’s line, one step over then draw ing back? Walking a tightrope throughout the years, stumble here, live with the fear. Surrendering at last, descending into nothingness.
To return from the edge of darkness is a victory over the Devil's persuasion. But it is a lonesome victory, for no one knew your spirit was dying.
